I really like the shot the processing and the idea behind it. I'm still at the drawing board stage for sigh :(

Beautiful take on "sigh" Got to agree with the Manc Man, tops

Steve

Fantastic shot, and the PP really adds to it in my opinion. Great lighting also!

Very nice.

lovely shot for sigh, and one i'd be really happy to have taken, really can't find anything to say other than that

Fantastic photo Alby! Did you plan it in any way, or was it a moment not to be missed?

This weeks theme is very tough; very few things say "sigh" unambiguously (yours could be interpreted many ways), but this is as good as it gets and a stunning shot regardless.

Thanks All for the comments. ;) Mark it was a moment that I spotted and quickly took. It seem to fit the theme for me so I just got lucky I guess.

Great shot,

I'd be proud just to get a pic of that quality, never mind on theme

Chris

Love the capture you can just hear her sighing as she tries to reach up, think the mono works well

Fantastic shot, definitely one of my favourites of this weeks theme.
Perfectly captured and perfectly processed.

Well done, a really great shot on theme ... I'm green with envy :D

That's a cracking shot. I like the sun's light edging around the bottom of the trousers, shoes and the base of the telescope. Makes the image stand out.

Thanks everyone for the kind and constructive comments, all much appreciated. ;)

I didn't just want to pop up some sweets which was my first thought so I looked a little deeper and while looking I decided to get a shot of Trextasy playing unplugged at the Eastney Cellars in Portsmouth singing "Get it on". I think the lyrics from the first verse seem to fit. :D

Well you're dirty and sweet
Clad in black don't look back and I love you
You're dirty and sweet, oh yeah
Well you're slim and you're weak
You've got the teeth of the hydra upon you
You're dirty sweet and you're my girl

Shot taken with my phone and after a couple of drinks ;)

hi, thought I'd commented on your sigh

Anyway, I echo other's comments, it's a cracker, really, well captured and the processing is bang on.

Sweet, for thinking outside the box. Not an easy one to capture with the low light but you did well. Nicely isolated. A bit soft....was the focus on the guy further away?

Cheers.

Thanks it was taken on my phone so didn't have much control of dof, focus and with a slow shutter speed there is a bit of movement crept in.

Alby, your 'sigh' is so poignant, and what beautiful capture!

Very nice Alby,

Sigh: Excellent... love the image and the processing

Sweet : A different take on the theme, and I like the image. It's hard to do these well with a proper camera, so good job using the phone.

Thanks John, it was a bit of a challenge using the phone and I remember thinking I wish I had taken a dslr with me.

Interesting interpretation and well taken on the phone, I can rarely get a decent picture on mine.

Love your iPhone image, far more creative and imaginative than I've managed, bravo Mandy

I have a Samsung S2 Amanda, not sure if the iphone is the same. Thanks for stopping by. ;)

Sweet....great out of the box thinking & a corker of a shot for a phone camera....nice work mister:thumbs:

dam & blast you though...got that song going round n round in my head now

Different take on the them and well done for having the presence of mind after a few to take the photo

Nice to see a different take on the theme :) I really like the way the subject is isolated by the lighting.

Sigh is a quality pic! Great light, great composition, just plain great!
I like your unique take on sweet too. :)
