Hi Albi

Great start to your project & a belter for wk2...brilliant pp  Bang on theme...very scary stuff...sooo impressed with your editing though..I've only just got the basics sorted

Don't forget to update the spreadsheet as well..link in the 1st post where the themes are announced...makes life so much easier for seeing who's done what....I've done wk's 1&2 for you

Albi, b****r, I was looking to do something very similar and, in fact, I've just taken the photographs :'(

I'm liking yours. I like the processing and the gritty feel. Just the mouth I'm not too keen on.

Cheers and well done for the early post.

Thanks all for looking, I do enjoy playing around in PP but as I said I will try and find another fear shot if possible without the pp.
Lynne: I know not of a spreadsheet. I'll have a hunt.

Excellent! Love the processing on this and definitely fits the theme :D Theres only one thing that ruins it for me though, and that is the text youve added. Without that it would be fantastic in my opinion

I'm scared where's my Mummy!!!

But before I run off and hide behind the sofa - very well done, my only thought with the image processing as it is, how would it look if the frame was made to look more like a window thus giving the impression that you are looking in the window?

Brill, processing is superb, could be a movie poster of a Hitchcock film.

Thanks everyone for all you comments, I find them really helpful and encouraging.
I took another shot today while out with a few TP buddies and Mr Fozzy kindly acted fear for me, well this was his interpretation of it. :D

Very good, I prefer the first Fear one but also like the processing on no2. I would love to be able to use ps to get resullts like these!!

Great job on the first 2 weeks.

Loving the direction, great angle on the subject and very much a new years view.

Not a massive fan of over pp in pics but the first fear one is awesome and fits the theme brilliantly.

Thanks all, sorry about getting in first Andy, feel free to continue to use your idea as I expect we will all think alike with some of these themes. ;)

Fozzy's funny but the first one works

 on both. Did you do any PP on the first one  or the second come to that

Like the second shot for Fear, but i do prefer the first. Heavy PP and all.
Some great shots and takes on the themes so far.

#1 says fear to me more than #2. I'm not sure it needs the text on the image though as the fear message in right there in front of you.

Thanks for the feedback chaps, I added the text to give it that tarot card feel of the death card, well that was my thinking behind it. :D

Love both pics for fear, and wonderful pp work. Would love to know how to get the effects in fear #2 pics. I actually think the text on the 1st fear pic adds to it. Brilliant

I like that second shot a lot. The tones etc you've come up with are an effect I've been wanting to replicate for ages, but I don't have a clue where to start or even how to describe them! Any chance of a few pointers re the basics of what you did in PP?

Thanks Simon, glad you like ;)
I dont know what scares me the most Alby, your second image which bythe way has soom great PP, or the image of Mr Fozzy

Well done
Fozzy is always a good bet for a fear shot Jon

It is a pushed hdr shot that I played around with in Aperture, I just played until I got the look I wanted but couldn't tell you exactly what I did TBH. Thanks for commenting Mark. ;)

Oi you :boxer:

:D

Great processing mate, terrible subject :)
If you get the right model the rest is easy, thanks for posing Mate ;) I do have a shot of Trev looking very much like Dennis Taylor :D

Love the pp on both of them. Now I'm feeling the fear 'cos I haven't got my shot done yet!

Hi Alby, I wasn't sure the shot showed direction till I read the description... but it does...I also have felt a bit like that on a number of occasions, but not in recent history... it has to be said :D...

Fear... yep, that's scary alright... fits and on theme...

Fear no 1 is fab. Excellent pping to very scarey effect. Love it.
Number 2 looks like he's saying "HOW MUCH?!" but I still like the dark moodyness of it.

Taken at Whipsnade Zoo. Don't we all let out a little sigh when we can't quite get what we want?
