Airshow Photography

Hi, i'm planning on going up to Leuchers Air show on 7th September and just wanted advice from any others that have been before. Are there any issues with lighting, i.e. the Sun (should it shine) when taking photos from the public viewing area. Looking at the location of the runway I was concerned in case I would be shooting into the Sun. Thanks

Try Suncalc - it'll tell you where the sun will be on the day.

Thanks. I have tried the link and it looks it will be shooting into the sun.

Many years since I was there but my memory is that by the time the display starts the sun is mostly moving out of the way. Thereagain, mostly I remember Leuchars shows for the rain!
