tell her you used an online service which posts the card out on your behalf and they screwed it up... Alternatively, get your butt to a store super early and buy one! :D

Was funny at work last year, an apprentice said to my two work mates and me,"I hope you've all got something nice for your Mums." His face was a picture when we told the poor bloke we had all lost our Mum's.
Happy Mother's Day anyway.
 
I had a superb reply for this BUT its of bad taste an therefore I will not stoop that low to get a quick joke.

I'd go to the local petrol stations for a card and grab some flowers :)
 
I don't have parents any more either, and its days like this and Christmas when you miss them most.

Me and my mum don't really 'do' mothers day.

Besides, its actually my 21st birthday tomorrow and I've just been told shes off to the shops to buy me a card and present :lol:
 
I got away with it and snuck out early(ish). Bought her a book - Wainwright's Coast to Coast. She's well chuffed.

I used to do that for my ex. And no, that's not why she's now my ex. She used to think it was quite romantic.
 
got my mum a parmo from boro on my way home from uni. lol

for those who dont know: Parmo

chicken breast, bechemel sauce (white sauce) and a lot of cheese.

she loved it :D and before you think it, shes not a heifer lol. just always wanted to try one :)
