Agnetha the Agfa's Global Adventure

I didn't use the rangefinder but I did take it out to have quick look. I didn't notice anything broken though (although that's not to say it wasn't).

I have a similar rangefinder which we could use if required.

Steve.

I think you would have noticed, I did straight away, does look like a delicate thing though, or at least the glass does.
Its been chucked down the stairs by the PO 10 times anyway, I suppose it was always a possibility, maybe if we put a bit of stuffing in that leather case it stop it moving about in there while the PO play 5 a side with it.

I can't wait.

The rangefinder has arrived safely. Apart from the broken glass it seems to be in good working order.

Would everyone like to use the rangefinder? I'll be happy to send it back out if so.

Thank **** for that...:)

get em scanned and up then :-)

Don't think I've used it in a year an half..:rolleyes:

I think we ought to get Simon to make a results thread, then this one can carry on being sat nav for Aggy and not get clogged up with scans/jiggery pokery.

A good idea!

Consider it done.

I'm gonna scan and post tomorrow, if you think its safe to start a thread that won't be 4 pages long by lunch Sunday then knock yourself out....lol

So, the camera has arrived. I have no idea how to use it yet, and we've been forecast with a severe weather warning down this way, so I'll stick a roll in(I'm assuming it's empty), and take my shots when the weather clears up.
@simon ess did we have a roll of film in mind?... I have FP4, Fomapan 200, Delta 400, T-Max 400, Tri-X 400, T-Max100.

I would go for a slower roll I struggled.with speeds in the sun on 400

Safely received Lee, thank you.

Camera only, assume we are guessing the range? And no light meter but I have one.

It's the Faversham Hop Festival this weekend so mine will be from where I am, assuming I am sober enough to work a camera at some point .........

Who do I post to on Monday? Perhaps the next could message me an address?

@RaglanSurf

If the list on the first post is still current it looks like you are next Nick. The handover could be a good excuse for a beer in town next week?

Regards

Crossed in the ether!

Alternatively you might like to try out the Hop Festival on the Sunday? Faversham is an hour from St Pancras and the whole town parties for three days with lots of live music. Could have the makings of a southern gathering if anyone else is interested?

I'm pretty sure I'll be in town on Wednesday if that works for you Mark.

I shall be drinking beer and listening to bands in a field in Dorset, otherwise it would have been a good idea.

Think we missed this, how about next week?

Sorry Nic, completely sidetracked and forgot all about it! How are you fixed next week? End of the week is better for me, Thursday?

Next week looking good ATM. Text me early next week to confirm.

I've had no word from Mark, just hope everything is ok.

He's been active on another forum in the last week or so.

I've just realised it's now a year since this started.

At noon tomorrow I shall hold a little ceremony to commemorate those missing in action.

I shall hum Deutchland Uber Ales and God save the Queen while slowly raising two little flags.

I shall salute, shed a tear and comfort my other Agfa.

Sniff.:sulk:
