been introduced to 'real' photography (DSLR) rather than a Point and shoot camera.

Arr, not a bad person to say hi too. You have a Sony Alpha 300, as you can tell from my name im looking for a Sony alpha but im not sure what im looking for. It will be my 1st DSLR but with such a huge range of Alpha's a100/a200/a230/a290/a300 etc im not sure which on the go for etc. What is the Alpha 300 like?
