Joined up here yesterday as it seems a friendly place and a good place to get help/tips, being new to DSLR photography its really appreciated.

Purchased my first DSLR this week which is a Canon 1000D with the standard lens + UV Filter. Starting as a hobby and will take it from there. Been looking at 6 star filter and ND Filters as future purchases

Photos I usually take are scenery types (living in Chester, plenty of opportunities) and also Motorsport (Touring Cars mainly). Usually have a decent eye for an image and will certainly enjoy comments and help along the way

I dont mind the crit, it only helps. Some forums I looked at, the people were just slagging off peoples efforts left right and center without being helpful
