The market doesn't seem to be filled with printer calibration software so just wondering what everyone is using for printer calibration as well as monitors?
The best seems be spyder studio but it also costs a small fortune.

I use Permajet's profiling service, which is free for their papers.

I was hoping for more of a piece of hardware that I can test screen colours and then run print samples through and make my own profile.

Is there a specific reason for it? It just seems an expensive way of doing something that can be had for free.

Color Munki Photo is what you require if you're on a tight budget, but want an all in one monitor and print media calibrator/Profiler.

Colormunki Photo is what I use. Works very well.

Have either of you found a better price for it than £300. Any idea what used prices are like?

I paid £295 I think a few years ago.

The issue is once bought it's rarely sold. No idea what used prices are though.

ColorMunki Photo.

I think mine cost £245 about 5 years ago, but I've rarely seen them sold on the secondhand market.

Have you tried Googling as there may be some on EBay or second hand photographic shops like Ffordes.

Ive had a quick look around and £300 seems to be the normal price at the moment.
I'm watching one on ebay that ends in a few days too.
I can understand not many used ones come up though.

Good products that are useful tend to be kept. It's not like cameras where people hanker after each upgrade. It is what it is... it works... so you keep it :)
