I just sent my request!

Never heard of it before but that looks awesome, especially for £39! (I'm on Mac so could get the proper :p version). Of course the video makes it look easier than it is though...

I'm in with Adobe at the moment but could be persuaded to change, waaay back when I used serif programs on my windows machine (a 486DX don'tyaknow!) and they were always pretty good.

Signed up too. For £40 and no subscription it looks good. Might be interesting to run it alongside CS6 (pre-CC that I have) to compare. At least it looks like it might be a comfortable transition being very same-looking interface and position of controls. Hope the raw management is as good or better than ACR.

Well at that sort of price, its probably worth a look. Thanks for the link.

Yes - I have CS6 too and I'm interested in making the comparison, although at the price you might think it more a competitor for Elements than the full Photoshop.

It looks like the [PLEASE DON'T TRY TO BYPASS THE SWEAR FILTER] child of Elements and light room to me.
Still, it can't hurt to check it out can it? ;)

lmao, that made me chuckle. I've never used elements, guessing its a cut-down version of PS?

Will find out with the beta i guess, see what it can do. The video trailer looked impressive (more of the text that was popping up in the middle, most features I recognised from PS). Not uninstalling my 3 year cs6 yet though, still plenty of life in it yet though I do fancy some of the newer features in CC, hence I'll be seeing if affinity is something worth investing in long term or whether to go for the CC, at £9 a month it looks a good investment too. Spoiled for choices lol

Very much so, I started with elements ( I hate light room with a vengeance) and I've been using CS5 forever, ( it seems) which I am more than happy with, And certainly have no plans to "upgrade" to CC
But as above it can't hurt to check this out .
