Without wishing to take over from the new corrie thread;), how am I supposed to ask a girl I don't know(hardly) out, without appearing creepy etc? I'm talking about a girl in the vodafone shop, she's really nice, but I don't know how to start talking about something other than phones to her. I'm already running out of excuses as I try and go in once a week, and keep having to think up problems! I'm a dunce and I know it, but advice gratefully received. ;)

:D

Ask when her lunch break is and could you join her in a nearby busy cafe

If you are going in that often she knows she has a stalker...

Yeah I second that. Women do notice stuff. I should know, I am one.

I reckon she's noticed anyway, so just go in with a piece of paper, and give her your number. :D

Will she not already have your number, seeing as she sorts your phone out weekly..........?

haha good point.. :D I will do it this week :D

I'd second the comments above.

Trust me, I'm sure she already knows why you keep calling in there to talk to her about phones.

Just go for it before you empty your wallet on unwanted phone accessories.
Keep it light, and as suggested above just ask her if she fancies joining you for a coffee when she has her break.

Good luck and let us know how it works out.

Might take a while, but you could always try the Victor Kiam approach.

Club and hair drag, works every time. Cheaper than coffee and no need to risk rejection

You could start with "You may have noticed I come in here every week and I've realised this might come across as a bit stalkerish... so I thought it was about time I actually asked you out..."

and take it from there ;)

getting a few different methods now! I'm 99% convinced I'm going to go with the, after some advice with my phone, "Do you fancy a coffee on your lunch break or something?", though it will probably come out as "Doyoufancyacoffeejustwonderedyounowumm" Though I hope it doesn't!!! :P

how about ' does this damp cloth smell of chloroform to you?'

See if Chef can taste the Rohypnol...

Tell her you've got something that extends 6 inches when it get's turned on..............

Then show her a 70-300 lens :D

Dont ask a closed question like "Would you like a cup of coffee?". That will give her the opportunity to say "no".

Try "I'm just going for a cup of coffee at xxxxxxx and it would be really good/cool/great if you decided to join me for your lunch break"

A nice open statement....

Go cheesy!

Take a piece of paper and a fat marker and scribble down something along the lines od 'fancy a drink?', take a photo on your phone and set is at the wall paper.

Then go into the shop, make up some sort of fault with the phone and ask her if she minds taking a look.

If she makes no comment or seems to not notice the message, i wouldn't bother going back.

I've got a lot of options to think about....going in on Saturday, so if I'm not here....you know why. ;)

or calls the 8'9 Barry who likes to bareknuckle box to remove you :p

Tell her that you have forgotten your own phone number so you'd like to borrow hers.

Ask her if she prefers Nikon or Canon. If she says Canon, walk out as she obviously knows nothing

Or, as others have said, just ask her out for a drink!

C'mon, I've had lots of conflicting advice now - ask her straight out, ask her if she'd like to join me, be a bit cheeky ;)....what would a girl like to hear?? :D

Thats a good idea! 2 happy bunnies and we're not shy of one another! :D

and Sarah does have a nice body and lens.:D Could tempt me back to Canon......

Can't you just ask Squizza out?

That would kill two budgies with the one brick :D

:lol::lol:

I think Squizza is braver, because she actually plucked up the courage to ask the chef out, so it might be easier if Squizza asked Lawrence out?

I wonder where they would go on a date if that happened!!??
