I’m looking to buy my OH a compact camera. I’m specifically looking at Panasonic, he previously owned a very early one of the TZ range. I think it was TZ5 or something like that.
I can’t stretch to the TZ100, but considering the TZ70 or TZ80. I see that the 80 has a greater mp than the 70 but I understand this affects the noise level in lower light situations. He is unlikely to print any of these images either.
The TZ80 also has 4K video, again, not sure how much he’d use this, is there a huge difference in quality of video, the TZ70 having HD?
I would welcome opinions.
Panasonic are offering free extended 5 year warranty too.
