Has anyone used or is using a Sony Alpha 200 DSLR?

i am looking for an dslr but unsure of what to get. i know someone selling on of these with a good amount of kit for £100.

is it a good camera?

It's a bit long in the tooth and at higher ISOs can't compete with more recent models. At low ISOs, however, it's capable of producing excellent results. If £100 is your budget, then it's a fine place to start.

check out my 4 bsb sets from 2009, i am not the greatest by a long shot but i was happy with it, they were mostly taken with a £160 sigma 70-300mm app dg lens.

but say that, whats your budget, there a little long in the tooth now, but some one will tell me i am wrong, lol.

Would make a good starter kit, my wife captured mine and has been using it for a couple of years now.

Lots of good Minolta lenses about that fit the Sony, for reasonable money.

Dave.

That's not a bad price,if you do buy it and find you need to move up,you won't lose a lot of money,if any :)
