It's a bit long in the tooth and at higher ISOs can't compete with more recent models. At low ISOs, however, it's capable of producing excellent results. If £100 is your budget, then it's a fine place to start.
check out my 4 bsb sets from 2009, i am not the greatest by a long shot but i was happy with it, they were mostly taken with a £160 sigma 70-300mm app dg lens.
used one for a couple of years and still use it as a back up now, for £100 with bits and bobs sounds like good value, as said high iso's not good but otherwise perfectly capable
