Hi everyone,

Just been offered a 1Ds mk2 for £650.

No idea on shutter count, seen some wear but nothing excessive!

Is this worth a punt to compliment my 7D?

How much would a new shutter set me back?

Any advice welcome!!

I'd say you can't go far wrong!! Cheapest I've seen em is about £800.
 
Definately find out the shutter count, bit like buying a car all polish on the outside and may have a clapped out engine inside.

Get the seller to prove the shutter count ,after all its their camera and they should be able to answer any questions about the camera.
