Advice Please

I have just switched over to Nikon and require some advice please.

Do I have to use NX2 for my processing or can I do everything in LR3.

To be honest not sure exactly what NX2 does.

Any help and advice when be gratefully appreciated.

Some people would argue that NX2 gives a better image as it's designed for the camera, others would disargree. I don't use it, I prefer LR.

I use Capture NX2 as it preserves all the camera settings and the control points are great.
Download a trial and see if you like it.

View NX2 is a free download and has lots of the Capture NX2 features, but no control points.
