Advice please

A friend of mine has asked me to look into this for her, her mum is paralysed from the neck down but has some very limited movement in her fingers, she uses a manual wheelchair as she is unable to control an electric one. She has a compact digital camera, and asked me is there a remote button for a normal digital camera that does more or less what Darren and you lot created for me and Nat? Her carers would have to position the camera and focus it but this girls mum wants to take the photos. Or can someone recommend a cheap ish compact that has a remote already built in?

Assuming it's one that doesn't have the necessary port for a remote to plug into, one option would be a cable release with a bracket to allow the cable to press down on the shutter button.

She would need a bracket like this and a cable or air release, thats assuming she can press hard enough to trigger the release cable.

It might be worth looking at changing camera's to one that has remote control or an electronic release facility.

Not trying to be funny but run a forum search on Card Recovery Programs and there's a page or so of threads about this. One or another will have a link to a data recovery program that'll work.
