advice please

i have a nikon d100 with a 35 - 80 lens which is fine, been doing a bit of football shots for website, but need a zoom lens, been looking on ebay, im guessing a 50- 200 would be ok????

will the nikkor dx work on my d100??

Yes the Nikkor 55-200 AFS will be fine, though you might find the poor AF module in the D100 to limit the shots you can take.
