I'm unsure where to post this......anyway...... I'm travelling to the UK at end of June (from Canada) and will be staying with some relatives in Newcastle for a while. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions about locations for landscape shots. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I dont know about the Newcastle area but from there you are within easy reach of the Scottish Borders and the English Lakes which both which I am familiar with and offer some of the most beautiful scenery in the UK.

For stuning scenery take a trip on the North Yorkshire Moors Steam Railway that runs between Pickering & Grosmont.

There is so much around that area. Head up the coast towards Scotland and you have places like Durridge Bay, small towns/vilages like Amble, Warkworth, Seahouses. Loads of castles, plenty of market towns like Morpeth, Alnwick, Rothbury. Come further inland and you have the Cheviot hills, Cragside, Alwinton and Wooler. Northumberland has scenery of just about all descriptions.
