Im completly new to photography and was after a good monthly magazine that people use:)

Practical Photography is popular - and I really love it!
There are lots more out there, and, if I were you I would go out on sat and buy a few that look good and read them all and find out what suits you best!

I have Photoplus on subscription as it's Canon specific, and aimed at the novice.

i started buying a few different ones then joined here, haven't picked one up since. You'll learn far more on here than from any photography mag :D

If you're into landscape photography, I can recommend Outdoor Photography. It features various locations each month for you to visit and general tips and advice.

Mags are last with the news now unfortunately :( And you can get guides and more help online.

True, but the advantage of a magazine is that you don't have to sit in bed with a computer on your lap to read it, and in additions all of the articles are in 1 place, so you don't have to trawl the internet to find the information you're looking for.

Photography Monthly is my weapon of choice but I also take AP on a weekly basis...

:p

Digital photo is a good one, it usually comes with a CD that has good video tutorials on it, showing you how use different processing techniques.

Photo plus if you have a canon other wise digital photo is a good choice They all have something to offer so pick one up and give it a try You can sometime get back copies on here for next to nothing I will be passing some on soon but you are to far from me to help you
Bob
