Calumet without a doubt, a proper photography store. Sorry but if we all keep buying online we will all lose outlets such as these and we will all be the poorer for it. Personally I'm happy to pay a "little" extra so I can take back to a shop if I have to. I've bought some stuff omline and its always a hassle to get it sorted when it goes wrong, so personally I think its worth dealing with a proper shop if I can afford to, which is what the OP seems to be alluding to.

Matt

Might be worth checking to to see if Jessops are still doing the double money on Tesco vouchers (that's if you have any of course)

John Lewis also do their price guarantee against local retail shops, should think they sell them in their Oxford St branch.

Its not double but they are still doing it.

Just checked on the Tesco site and it says a fivers worth of clubcard vouchers gets you a tenners worth of jessops vouchers

Either or really

I'd be tempted to go to both and see if you can get a better deal from one of them, if you are a serious buyer with cash in your pocket to buy, then tell them this and see if you can get any good deal - even a card thrown in ...

Definitely worth while if you have any Tesco vouchers, can take the sting out of buying it...

I'd certainly recommend John Lewis as another option and they offer a 2 year warranty and they're the same price as Jessops and Calumet on line ...

All the signs of grey imports without stating as such... 3-5 days delivery 'within' UK and 'All of our products come with a minimum 12 months seller repair warranty covering parts and labour'.

Check out their negative feedback.

I'v heard a hell of alot of it, they don't actually seem like conmen but do seem to often be unable to backup their promised delivery dates and take forever to refund a cancilled order.

Personally I'd order though someone like digitalrev if I was going grey market.

I've had great service (and prices) from Panamoz.

I got my 5D3 and a 5D2 with 24-105 kit from Hdew cameras and they currently have the 5D3 for £1995 with a 3 year warranty. They are a UK based company and give great service and they use Canon approved service centres for the warranty work.

I've also bought a lot of gear from Panamoz who also give great service but they supply from Hong Kong. I've had stuff delivered in 3 days from ordering which is fantastic considering how far it's coming.
