Advice on batteries for Speedlite

Hi,

Just got a Canon 430EX and looking at which rechargeable batteries to get for it.

I know the Eneloops are well regarded but there are a lot of different varieties, I was wondering which might be best or which people use?

Any advice will be appreciated.

I have the eneloops, they are very good. I also have the 7day shop ones these too are very good.

Although the eneloops are my choice - for SB900's


I have a few ANSMANN ones too

I use an ANSMANN charger along with a Technoline charger - The batteries are important - but so is the charger you use to charge them

Thanks for that guys, was wondering about the charger.

I know eneloops seem to be the ones to use but there are a lot of different models, powers etc.

Can you advise which ones are best suited to a flash gun? Many thanks
