Advice On A Canvas Please..

hi just wondered if anyone has any canvass prints done at 30"x20" from a 6.3mp camera.


i have a shot i want printed this size just wondering if it will be ok...

i am using a canon 10D if this helps.

thanks in advance for anyone who has had one done and can put my mind at ease....

I have one here printed from a 4MP "point and shoot" camera.
Remember - a picture will never be as sharp on textured media anyway

I'd expect it look great on the wall. It's not likely to look great nose to print but it's not meant to.

You could print out to that size on A4 photo paper , if your happy then commit to canvas.

I have this one stretched onto a 110cm x 460cm (43" x 18") canvas

It was taken on a 300D so 6Mpixel and looks great.

i did do this to check the print then just tweaked a few bit that i was not happy with ..

i have got what i think is the finished shot ready now..

Ta - I'd just walked over the headland into Oxwich bay spotted this, put my wide angle lens on, opened it up and lay on the sand, to comments of:

"What he doing? he'll get all sandy"
"That'll never make a good pic"
"Why's he taking a photo of a log?"

etc etc

Strange what other folks pass by/ignore - as the little fellow says " No imagination gramps"
