I need a new printer. I've been using an Epson Stylus Photo R1800 for about 3 years but it's dying. Whilst I've been happy with the prints, the printer itself has been nothing but trouble, with regularly blocked nozzles and other problems.

I need a printer that is reliable and produces great photo quality images to at least A3+. Anyone got any advice?

Canon 9000 mk2? Currently £250(ish) after the cashback offer that runs until almost the end of the month. Or there's the 9500 if you'd prefer pigment ink.

I don't print a huge amount, but I've been more than impressed with my 9000 mk1. (See the 9000 / 9500 thread in this section).

If you do a lot of printing, you might be better looking at one of the A2 printers that has a bigger initial outlay, but apparently cost a lot less to run.
