Hi everyone just need some advice please
I brought a cannon 500d from Jessops at the end of Dec 2010. over the coming weeks started to build my confidence with the camera which I love by the way,I am a private pilot so I have got some lovely aerial shots with the cannon,a friend noticed that there was a mark on the image,so I followed the correct procedure in cleaning by puffing air into the camera but no luck so I sent it back to Jessops who were told by cannon that I had scratched the cmos sensor, cost of repair £680. Not happy I complained they then said I would need to produce an image from as early as possible, I luckily found a photo of my daughters dance competition and hey presto it's there only 10 days after I brought the camera. Cannon said that they wanted to see a recent image so I burnt two images on to disc, now there say they want the original image file but that's been deleted of my card. I am being given the run around at the moment not sure what my best plan of attack should be.

well done for seeing sense. I await the camera. what I can't understand is people who buy DSLR dont just make one purchase like you would with a simple point and shoot,we go back to expand our kit through lenses and flashes ect ect it's a hobby and people will spend good money on a hobby, I just don't think they get it at all.
