Advice needed please!!!

Hi i have a nikon d3100, and i am new to dslr cameras, so you will have to bare with me anyway i have a feeling the command dial could be broken becuase when i try to use it it just doesnt respond... :bang: :shrug: any advice will be very useful to me Thankyou

If the shop you bought it from is near by then pop in and get them to look at it, sorry but a canon man so cannot offer any other advice

Try putting it in manual mode and then spin it. Does the shutter speed change?

Okay, have tried changing all the settings and it still is not working, so i am going to take it back into the shop. Thankyou for your help
