I'm off to the Llandudno air show in a couple of weeks time. The viewing location, according to the website, is anywhere along the north shore promenade and also the pier.

With the display timetable being from 11am to 3.40pm, would any of you experienced Llandudno air show goers know the best spot to perch for the day?

thanks in advance

Nigel

Hike up the Great Orme a bit overlooking the pier and seafront?

Any tips on parking? Went to Rhyl last year and was a nightmare getting in and out. Is Llandudno likely to be similar?

Let's hope it's a good one, if you see a very hassled photographer with one big lens and two small kids then give me a wave :)

Got this sot last year from the washed out show. Weather looks better for this year.

Got that from the end of the pier looking towards the Little Orme. Think with the way the flight line is the only shot you will get are as the planes come pass the little Orme. Most of the statics and ground stuff tends to happen towards the pier.
A lot of people tend to go up the Great Orme or up around the ground around the cable car lower point.

And that's why I will be heading up the Little Orme

ok under stand good luck. Just from a couple of years ago i thought the little Orme was to far away. But would love to have got a shot of the Spitfire and Hurricane as they came in low around the Little Orme.
