Please bear with me, being unexperienced with slr photography. im awaiting delivery of a Lumix DMC G2 which im quite excited about, having only used compacts before. Its coming with the standard 14-42 lens which ive also ordered a lens hood, UV and CPL filter for. Also picked up a new Hama 62 tripod for £10.
I like to take photos of alsorts, scenery, buildings, wildlife etc. Is it worth me looking for additional lenses (remember im a learner) or other equipment? I understand non M43 lenses can be used with adaptors, is this worth looking into, if so any tips? I cant look into the classifieds yet as im a newbie, would it be best to just play with what ive got first and look in the classifieds when ive qualified?

Sorry, so many questions!

Whilst you will need longer lenses for Wildlife, most of the time anyway the best thing you can do in my opinion is learn to use the camera. The 14-42 should give you plenty to go at and will be fine for landscape, street, buildings etc.
When you know the camera well then you will know which lens or other kit you want next

I also wouldn't trust a telephoto lens on a £10 tripod hama tripod.

Take a look a the G series owners thread in the equipment forum. There are a few posts recently about legacy lenses and adapters. I thought I'd do this as a way to try out a few things I couldn't afford to do if I went for new lenses.
