Adorama - Top Photographer with Nigel Barker

Not aware, but I'll have a look.

I like Nigel, my Mrs used to be a huge ANTM fan so he's a household name for us.

Just watched episode 1. Take a bunch of guys who each have different approaches, then throw them all into shooting in a way that suits some and not others, pressuring them so they find it harder to work. No real surprise that the guy whose normal way of shooting doesn't work gets dumped at the end.

The photography was really interesting, but the premise is up it's own bum.

And ditto for episode 2.

I've watched the first 3 so far - quite enjoyed it.

The sky arts programme was watchable, but overly dramatised and a bit pretentious at times.

Cheers! I was cheesed off that I didn't have any way of watching the sky arts series (other than subscribing to sky of course) so I'll look forward to these (y)

I'm with you on that. If the premise was to find the best overall photographer from that group, then surely it would make more sense to award points in each round rather than sack off one photographer each time - as you say, the landscape guys are stuffed (relatively) if the first round is studio portraits - awarding points would give them a chance to stay in a pick it up in later rounds.
