Adolf is alive and well and living in Namibia...

Chenjerai Hunzvi, a Zimbabwean 'war veteran' and politician, who described himself as ' the biggest terrorist in Zimbabwe', took Hitler as a nom de guerre back in the 60s.

On a lighter note, read The Land God Made In Anger (John Gordon Davis) if you fancy a story set in Namibia. The main character is a South African and it involves a sunken U boat, a treasure hunt, a Nazi war criminal, a Neo-Nazi movement within the German speaking population, the AWB and plans to establish a new Reich... It not the author's best book, that would be Hold My Hand I'm Dying or Roots of Outrage, but I enjoyed it.

It's an amazing country, photographically, despite access to the Namib desert having been controlled in more recent times. I had a terrific photo and wildlife safari holiday there in 2001, self-driving several thousand miles. Really like it and the people, despite the President being a pal of Mugabe.
