Just wondering if anyone else is having issues opening raw files from there 70d. I've checked for updates and its saying its all up to date.
On the adobe site it says it should be compatable.
:(
 
Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) needs to be up to date. I found this which does not look too helpful :shrug:
If I were you I would update ACR and see how it goes.
 
I have now found this which explains how to manually install ACR 8.1, it should work with 8.2. Just make sure that you move the existing camera raw file to somewhere safe temporarily in case you need to go back to the original. Do not drag it to the trash as the article suggests.

Cheers guys, its not looking good but I'll give this a go. Just need to find camera raw 8.2:)
 
I've had this issue with Photoshop and ACR so instead I used the DNG converter (which worked fine once updated) and have been editing DNG files.

A friend who has bought the 70d uses dng converter before importing raw photos to LR4. It is quite quick give it a go.
 
The converter is sadly my way forward... its quick to do tho (i5 laptop)
