http://www.talkphotography.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=98121

Now my D700 files won't import onto Lightroom :bang: .. i have version 1.4 .. the D300 raws import fine .. do I need to upgrade to versio 2.0 etc for my D700 files ..

Thanks again :help:

:nikon: .. but not Adobe that much at the moment :bonk:

I believe you do need LR2 for the D700 files :(

Thanks for confirming what I thought .. oh well , more cash to spend :gag:

There was a thread in the PP section from someone else with the same issue.

You can use the free Adobe DNG convertor (http://www.adobe.com/products/dng/) to convert your files to be Lightroom 1.4 compatible.

To make it even easier, you could set up Lightroom to monitor the output folder for the DNGs so then they are added into Lightroom without any further intervention.

That's a good point. Exactly the same method as using Lightroom when shooting tethered.
