I have A version of Elements 2 that came with one of my bodies, I want to delete it from my computer but when I go to do that in the normal way it says the programme is corrupt and can not be deleted.

Help anyone?

Do you still have the CD you used to install it ?

If so, try re-installing it, and then use add/remove programs in the control panel to remove it.

Hmmm... how long ago did you install it ?

Can you do a system restore to an earlier time (assuming it was recent) ?

Sorry, can't think of much else short of manually removing the program files and then cleaning up the registry (assuming you're using a PC and not a Mac). This is tricky and dangerous if you don't know what you're doing though.

Sorry I can't think of anything else. If the program works after you've re-installed it then you should be able to delete it... strange.

Daniel.

Go into the C drive and find where the programme's installed and delete the files there then delete the shortcut from the desktop, etc if not mite have to ro a restore

If you go this route you will also want to use Ccleaner or some other Registry cleaner after.
Another way you could try, would be to try another version of Elements, which you could download a trial and hopefully that would fix the problem. You should then be able to remove it in add/remove.

Do you still Adobe Elements? I am about to upgrade to version 7 so could let you have an earlier version if it helps.

Have 7 on order, should come tomorrow, will see what happens when I load it.
