Adobe elements 2026 note

Having just downloaded the adobe elements 2026 version one might be interested in what I had to do. First was conflict with previous versions, so i had to eliminate EVERYTHING to do with Adobe from my computer including checking registery. just deleting is not enough there are leftovers remaining. Anyway that is what I found.
Next RAW files.
The adobe Elements 2026 direct download does not include RAW files. To do that got into Elements help and look for plugins. Yes to have the Raw files in elements 2026 needs this extra download.
Not being that computer wise it did take me quite a long time to fathom out and clear the conflicts and the RAW downloads.
So I also went back into the computer to set up a restore point. I did hjave one before but windows automatic11 update caused me trouble and the previous restore point was lost.

Hope this is of some help for those contimplating the same

Are you saying that PSE 2026 does not include Adobe Camera Raw at all? That's just ridiculous by Adobe if true. I've used Elements since 2004 when I got it free bundled with a scanner, now using 2015 as all my cameras are older than this. I was thinking of a newer version but if it doesn't include ACR it's a no go for me.
 
According to the Adobe website PSE 2026 comes bundled with Camera RAW and the plugin should automatically install, but not it seems for Bazza.
 
I ditched Adobe about 5 years ago when their help desk of foreigners thought my question was funny and refused to provide an answer to my question. I now use Affinity and have been having great success with it, although it is different enough to sometimes give me some frustration. I won't ever be going back to anything Adobe.

Any chance that it was your reaction to them that caused the issue? Just perchance?
 
Not until they did this to me, and several additional calls were made with similar results. Their help desk was a bunch of foreign workers, likely Pakistani, that wouldn't help me at all, and were having laughing fits between each other. It was an installation question, so I couldn't install what I had already paid up front for. They haven't gotten a dime from me since.

I was a Photoshop user since Photoshop 7, and used it until this happened 5 years ago. Now I won't do any business with them any more.
