Adobe Creative Cloud Membership - For Photographers

Hi All,

I guess a lot of us all subscribe for this, so we can use PS and LR. I am coming to the end of my first years sub and just had an email saying it will be automatically renewed at 7.14 GBP, plus applicable Tax/VAT. This makes it £8.57, the same as I have been paying for my first year.

So, firstly thats great, the price hasn't gone up

But, does anyone know how it can be gotten cheaper, if possible, will there be any promos on between now and 1st of Jan. What does everyone else do or think?

I don't touch any thing that is a subscription and even less from CC.
On my MAC, RAW converter, pixel editor, and image processor are
from there makers and are mine. It costs me less and I got a power-
ful tool collection.

Cool, thanks Kodiak, but I am not looking to move away from my Adobe C/C plan.

I think that is the best price about at the moment, I certainly haven't seen anything cheaper myself

Not much cheaper but Amazon sell the cc plan for one year for £99.99

Does anybody know why a desktop shortcut to adobe CC appeared after I installed PSE 14 ? Is this another aggresive marketing tool from Adobe with too many directories and files for my lean and mean OS, and access to my money that I don't wish to give to them?
Did I miss a tick box with a default to subscribe?

Now uninstalled ! Bah humbug

Cheers, think it roughly works out about £0.20 cheaper a month, as you not not much cheaper. I don't think its worth the effort of not auto renewing for that.

It is certainly starting to look that way. Unless they come out with some kind of offer, but it may only be for new customers or something, will have to keep an eye out over the coming weeks.

You may need a Malaysian email address but may be able to do it based on that. Alternatively register for a full time education course and benefit from student/teacher discounts

When I worked at a University, I was able to specify any software I could justify for the course and the University would obtain the licence. Of course they already had cc, so it was just a simple fix for IT to hook me up onto the server.
