A couple of weeks ago I signed up to Adobe's Creative Cloud suite, using the Photography Plan with Photoshop and Lightroom.

Today I received this email stating they've credited my account with 1 year of free usage starting with the next billing cycle. I'm confused by this. Has anybody else received this email from Adobe?

Just in case it's a scam , hover over the link to make sure it is an adobe web site it takes you to.
 
That has scam written all over it for me ...
 
I changed my password just to be safe. All the links go through to the official Adobe website and the email itself is from @adobe.com

Very strange. I did think this might be similar to one of those spam PayPal emails which asks you to log in etc, but this one didn't call for any action. Weird.

You can't trust the from address, that is very easy to spoof. Hover over the link for Billing History and see where it is really pointing to.
