I see this is still available at £8.75/ month for a 12 month subscription. Has anyone subscribed and got any thoughts, my initial thoughts are if it does not go up excessively then it seems good value and if it does providing I keep the files as .cr2, or save as .dng or .tiff I a can always revert to my copy of CS5.
Comments would be much appreciated

regards

Chris

Been using for several months. All good here.

Excellent. Been using Lightroom for several years with occasional use of Elements. I didn't want to fork out £600 for a stand-alone version of PS! This package is vastly superior. You get regular updates and it all integrates nicely.

Not sure how I would manage without now. Hope they don't put the price up too much when the offer finishes.

All good here, I have CS6 to fall back on if necessary :)

I got an offer yesterday for Photoshop CC and Lightroom at £8.78 per month. Offer ends 30 June. Usual conditions about price increases that they can impose, but they seem to have held at this price for much longer than anyone originally thought.

I’ve just signed up for photoshop and lightroom CC and it’s awesome
you’ll need a good graphic processor to work the 3D function

just had it for 2 months now and its spot on i like the way you can go from lightroom to ps then back makes it very easy

Ive been using PSCS6 and LR for a while but I went legit and signed up for this package at Christmas. Bonus is that you can get LR for iPad for free with this package.
Im not too happy with the whole CC thing though. I have no issues with cost and business model etc, but the system seems to be very buggy and there are a lot of unhappy users. Hopefully it will get better.

Been using CC since September and have not had any problems or concerns. We use the full suite for video, PDFetc too.

I have. I had photoshop CC before and just switched the sub. Had a refund on the part unused month and with several left on original single app 12 month deal it's a no brainer. More software, less money!

I've had it since November/December time and I think it is an affordable way to legally have the software. I got LR5 with my Canon 6D anyway and previously purchased LR4. Don't really use PS a great deal but it's nice to have.

I have Bridge & CS5 and recently download the 30 day trial for Photoshop CC which I think is good value at <£9 per month. BUT. Do you also have to down load Bridge CC and is this extra as I use both in tandem? I got frustrated and deleted the CC version but need to re-visit again so any comments welcome.

You do get Bridge CC included in the deal, and you have the option of not installing it.
Once you download the CC Desktop app, and log in to your Adobe account, it will tell you what you can download, what's already downloaded and what you can try out.

Oh, you also get Adobe Type kit as well with this package now.

I’m partially disabled and I just love messing around in photoshop CC, it’s very therapeutic and I’ve just purchased 120 tutorial videos

I've just signed up for this. I was umming and ahhing and decided to just go for it. I hope they don;t crank the price up after 12 months, but we'll find that out in 12 months!

Forgive me if I'm being particularly thick, but I have LR5.4 installed already. Is my only recourse to uninstall and then install CC?

I've just stumbled across this due to looking into Lightroom Mobile.

Am I right in thinking that for the £8.78 a month I get Lightroom (which I already have anyway) and full access to Photoshop on both my ipad and imac?

Don't know about Photoshop but I've got LR mobile on my iPad, although you can only sync 1 catalogue at a time to it.

Really? to you mean only SYNC one at a time from your PC or you can only have one catalogue on your ipad? I've got a couple on my ipad.

So does anyone know the answer to my question above, still wondering whether to do it or not :)

I mean you can only sync 1 catalogue to the iPad, so if like me I have separate catalogues dependant on subject matter, I can only view 1 of them on the iPad.

As to your question about PS. AFAIK there isn't a mobile version of Photoshop available and to be honest, with having Lightroom available I don't know how much I would use it. There is a Photoshop lite available in the App Store for 6.99 but I don't know what it's like. As to whether or not to subscribe it's up to you. My decision was based on for circa £110 a year I get the latest versions of LR and PS along with a few other bits. When I subscribed I was using LR 3.2.

Hmm, I'm looking at mine and I have 2 synced catalogues on my iPad, strange.

I know I won't use Ps much so I guess what it boils down to how much I'll use Lightroom mobile.
