I have this along with PS 2021 and LR- now these up to a while ago were running 100% NOT NOW Though........

Now If I open Bridge to access and view images prior to PP, my PC runs slow - images sometimes take an age to open :(

If I don't utiluise Bridge and open images directly with Photoshop, alls well with my PC

I went throyugh the PC this mrning and deleted any thing I had no use for all old images moved to a seoerate external HD

Now is this a common issue or my PC needs upgrading

I have a 3 year old Dell Inspiron 3268, with Intel i5- 7400 - CPU @ 3.00Hz - 300 Ghz- 64 bit OS with 8gb RAM and a 1TB Hd + 1TB external HD

Confused is not the word - Help please???

Les :)

It works 100% now - thank you very much for the video- I owe you :)

Edit as of today @ 06.45am

It seems my PC is NOT compatable with PS 2021 or Bridge 2021 according to Adobes web site- funny as it ran fine a week back :)

I have on this Dell Insipron 3568 desktop PC- Intel i5 7400 CPU @ 3.00 Hz -300Ghz with a 64 bit OS - 8Gb RAM + 1TB HHD

I have removed the 2021 versions from the PC and installed the 2020 version of Photoshop ( 21,2.9) - and the 2020 version of Bridge ( 10.1.1) It runs like a dream now, shame I'm a year behind

Les :)

Guess it time for an upgrade of RAM and install aSSD - or new PC ?

Sorry about your struggles Les. I'm posting the whisky back to you, except that half of it has mysteriously disappeared ...

I'm no expert but I'd double that RAM as a basic, and I think a concern with hdds could be not the overall capacity but how much is free when up and running?

I reckon to get about 10 yrs out of a pc ...

I still have 88% free space when both are running :) it seems to use about 7% of the CPU so plenty of space- I suspect a RAM upgrade may help presently 8GB

Les

my PC 3 years old

Update- I had to remove certain 3rd party apps that seemed to conflict with Photoshop 2021 like Paint.net and a editing suite on a free trial

I have removed these and reinstalled Bridge 2021 + Photoshop 2021 and they run as they should

I may still upgrade to 16Gb RAM as I presently run 8Gb

Les :)
