Adobe Bridge Cannot open Camera RAW Error

Hi all

I am having a problem that I hope someone will be able to help me with

If I use Adobe Bridge and select anything to do with Camera RAW, either Open a file in RAW or even adjust Camera RAW preferences I get the following error message pop up



I don't know how long its been doing this as I don't usually use Bridge, I am using CS6 and have tried re-installing the software and using the latest Adobe Camera RAW but cannot get RAW to work in Bridge.

I did google the problem and it was suggested that the fix for this was to copy a file from the Photoshop Directory over to the Bridge Directory but that made no difference.

Anyone know why this is happening and what fix is.

When I click on a RAW file in Bridge it opens Photoshop and then Adobe Camera Raw. I assume you can open RAW files directly in ACR in CS6. If so I would advise you to make sure both CS6 and Bridge are completely un-installed and then reinstall CS6. If that does not do the job then I seem to recall there is a utility (I think on the Adobe site) which completely wipes all Photoshop/Bridge files allowing you to make a clean install.

Is it a fully legal copy of CS6?

I've seen this in the past with pirated copies of CS6 that required the copying of a few dlls from one directory to another but never seen it on legal copies.
