Earlier today I installed "Adobe Application Manager". To be honest this was a mistake, as the Adobe updater popped up a window, and I didn't read it closely enough - I just thought I was doing one of the many updates to PDF reader :shake:.
Anyway, having installed it, I thought I'd run it and see what it would do for me. I've got licensed PSE7 and PSE10, and an expired trial LR on this machine, and I thought that it might offer some updates for these products, or suggest that I might like to license the LR.
But none of these products get a mention. There's just a big list of the many Adobe products I don't have installed, and the option to do trials for them.
Is there any useful purpose for this thing? Or is it just an advertising ploy?
