Adele's 365 *FULLY UPDATED* 166/365 210609

Hey :bat:

I'll have you know I've just been waxing and polishing it in anticipation

Hopefully, when greeted by my butt at the door - Dellipher's mind will change to appreciating and photographing its globey-goodliness

:D

DD

 Now there's an image that will take some time to scrub out! :p

Hi Dellipher,
well done posting these personal photo's, I may have to do my own tablet one later in the year. I have a lifetime disease, unlike you it gives me no pain but I know it's there and it does make me tired, the tablets keep everything under control.
Good luck with the project, I look forward to keeping an eye on it.

Thanks Cyclone! I wanted to do a random 365, but one non-the-less that show'd ME without being self-portraits, and covers a wide range of photography.

So does that mean I'm first in it ;)

Not necessarily :p

Moving stuff Del, good on you for going for it. Very good start, says a lot about how you.

Hat tipped.

Thank you very much. I wanted to do a "deep and meaningful" i suppose 365. I felt I wanted to do something that made me write in my online journal more.....by doing this too...I have my perfect excuse! :)

love todays pic aswell del
love the kids eyes and the fact that this is as much a diary as anything else

Its a bit of everything Jade, I loved how with Marcel, he'd put a picture up and a written commentary. I'm not just posting it on here, I'm also posting it on my Journal, Facebook and Flickr! So....the "diary" bit helps too! :)

Today I went around to see Dave and got my laptop calibrated. So now I should be just wonderful.

I havent really edited many shots whilst Ive been using the new laptop, and it looked like it was a good job too. The difference was WOW!

So just showing you a picture of my latop screen and all lights that run along the top of the keyboard. I love the fact that it has a 17" monitor, and a picture of yesterdays 365 :)

Ahhhh for the joys of calibration! *laughs*

That's definitely a cool pic. I use a 17" screen laptop and it's great, until I have to lug it anywhere! You having a good day today Del?

Yeah Fabs, I love the 17" screen and tbh, I dont mind taking it anywhere, cos its black, and sleek and sexy!! :)
And yes I'm having a good day today! Getting early with my image, cos I have quite a bit of editing to do later on today! So wont have time to take pictures later. Already have the rest of the week planned so I'm quite excited! :)

Today my train tickets arrived for when I go to Edinburgh on 24th Jan til 26th Jan. Sat to Mon.
I'm looking forward to the weekend away, to watch Sheffield Steelers. Theres a group of friends/supporters, and I've kind of broken into their circle due to a boy I met at my friends weddding, and become really good friends with.
There's going to be about 9 of us going, so it should be a really good laugh. 3 hotel rooms, 3 in each room. And Ice Hockey, Beer and Fun!
I'm not sure Edinburgh knows whats going to hit it!

I'm so excited.

nice to see your so excite love the pic
like the fact we can see where your goin

Cool shot. Hope you have a great time Del. You going to be taking pics at the hockey?

Thanks Fabs, the National Express background the tickets are on, is the ticket folder that the tickets came in.
Im not 100% sure if I will be taking games at the hockey, because I'm not sure what Edinburgh's policy are on taking photographs of the game in their arena. I know you can in Sheffield Arena, but only at an Ice Hockey Game.
I am taking my DSLR, but I might just put the 18-70mm for the trip. I dont want to be taking my full kit-bag.

Thanks Jade! I am excited! Will be a very good laugh and should be brilliant!

Yayy, I'm lovin' these Del.

I really liked the first one, right in there with something personal, I had read elsewhere about your condition and I know it's not an easy one to live with, it's not just the pain, there are side effects too which is a right bummer! And those Tramadol are something else, I had them after my liver op and was properly off my tree! I think you are quite restrained compared to what I remember :)

I'm glad you are off to Edinburgh it's a cracking place and I really hope you have a smashing trip.

Thanks for the comments Ali :) I hope you keep coming back to view.
Part of me wishes I'd done one of these last year. Purely to see how I progressed over the year.

The Tramadol dont space me out half as much as other people say it makes them. Kind of makes me really jealous when I'm laid there having taken them still in complete agony at times going "why dont these do to me what they do to other people"

Having been without the net for a few days I'm just catching up and I love what you've done so far Adele!

Quality stuff I shall follow your year with interest :)!

Oh mine did not space me out! I wanted to go running at midnight despite the 9 1/2 inch incision in my abdomen! Then I'd sleep for two days. I was all over the place on them. I'm really glad they don't do that to you though I wish you were not in pain.

I changed my image that I had planned for today, as I feel that this is probably much more relevant.

I'm trying not to depress you all with my 365 but as I said before, I have good days and bad days. Unfortunately this is a bad day - and its leaked over from last night.

I had a doctors appointment yesterday, the itching caused by my drugs is most likely down to the opaites in the tablets. Which means, if I'm reacting to opaites in one drug, I will react to them in all of them. Which means they cannot give me anything as strong as what I'm on now.

I'm back to the hopsital at the end of the month, so hopefully I can have some answers of where I can move on from here. Although, there isnt many options they can give me because I havent got children. If I had children they could treat it a lot more aggressively than they are doing.

Its not the nicest thing in the world, as a single girl to hear, that you need to have kids before we know we can put an end to the pain.

And the black cloud decends....unfortunately.

Oh Del. I'm so sorry that you are having a hard time of it, I really don't know what to say to make you feel better, but I really hope that things take an upturn for you sooner rather than later. That is a really powerful photo as well.

Thanks Fabs, the photo wasnt what I origionally had planned, nor was the type/style I had in my head. but I dont really like SP's and they arent my thing

I, some 5hours later, am feeling better than i did but not 100% way there

I think things often don't end up how we originally envisage them, but this certainly gets the message across. Glad your feeling somewhat better and heading in the right direction.
