I have a set of three ageing Bowens Esprit 500 heads and a bunch of S-Fit modifiers and am looking for additional lights to complete my studio line-up.
Looking at the current Bowens range, it appears that the Gemini Classic 500 heads are pretty much the same as the old Esprit heads with a few modern wrinkles.
Would there be any dramas mixing these heads that I should be aware of assuming I use the same bulbs in all? I can't think of any other than the recycle time might be slightly faster - maybe 0.03 sec with the newer heads - with modelling lights on I can see when all are ready to fire so no dramas there really...
I'd use the newer heads as main/key lights due to the additional wireless Pulsar trigger capability.
