When do people normally add a signature/watermark to their images?

Do they tend to do it after processing the image? And is there a way to bulk add them or is it a case of adding one individually to each image?
 
I think there is a way, its a programme i think batch , as for copyright watermark i add mine once i have finished editing
 
It's probably better to add it last (after cropping sizing etc) if you have cs5 theres a batch watermark panel built in that. If you have an earlier version check out the tutorial on russel browns website about 3/4 of the way down called digital branding (I think) he makes an action.
Or theres a script on here somewhere (is search working yet?) that will also do it.
 
I use an "Action" in PS CS2, which i find works very well, although you might want to place your own finished personal size from this tutorial...HERE
