Hi All,

Please could I have some help. I am trying to place a signature that I have created onto an image in CS5 but when I add it to the image it pixelates and looks terrible. The size of the PNG signature is 121x40 pixels and the image that I'm trying to place it on is 531x800. I am wondering if I just need to resize the PNG to a smaller size?

The reason that I am doing all of this is so that I can record an action which will enable me to add my signature to a batch of images however I really am a photoshop amature so I could do with some help?

Many thanks,

Ian C :)

Is the signature text and if it was did you rastersize it before you saved it as this helps text when resizing and adding to other images.

I have opended the signature up in CS5 but the rasterize option is greyed out?

I think you have to do it before you flatten and save it.....unfortunately that means starting again.

a little tip.........

When I create stuff in CS5 I always save as a PSD before I flatten the layers.... then I have always got that file to go back to so that if it looks rubbish or does not work with the flattened png/jpg I can just open the psd again and find out where my creation is carp.
