Adding a signature to a photo...

Looking at quite a few of the better shots I notice most of them have a signature of some description edited to them...

How easily is this done and created? Is there a batch system where you can create your sig and just run it through a batch processing tool to add it on or is it a one by one process ??

A really simple way is to create a border by making the canvas bigger and then adding your signature to the border.

this can all be done as an action in photoshop and is relatively quick.

Do a google on adding borders if you want a bit more info.

on Lightroom 3, there's an option to add a signature called "watermark"
if you're finished with your editing and ready to save a batch of photos,
use the export under file menu, and there's an option for you to add signature.
you will see there's - add watermark....
you can change the size, layout, opacity etc... then save the photos.
once it is done, viola! all your photos have a signature and ready to upload and share...

From what I have been told it'spretty much PS except free, will give anything a go if it saves a few bob lol

Will have a play sometime soon and when I figure it out will put a howto up if needed or noone beats me to it

Try Faststone Resizer - you can batch photos with up to 4 borders and text etc - and it's free!
