Hi all,I have some nice elinchrom fit octas but am considering buying a more powerful lencarta strobe to use with them,is there an adapter and if so is it a more expensive option to buy the light and adapter as opposed to another elinchrom fit strobe.Many thanks

You have 2 choices. You can get a softbox speedring from Elinchrom (The Flash Centre) or you can get an adapter like this one

Ive never had the need for a adaptor ring but when in use on a Elinchrom head, doesnt it cause the tube to be somewhat recessed in the adaptor instead of it being fully exposed to the new modifier ?
