The TP52 - 2026 Adamski 52 for 2026 - WK 11 Colour Red

Nice idea, wasn't convinced with the distortion at first but it's sort of growing on me. (y)

They aren't the chosen images but just some to get the ball rolling.

I'm trying not to just take images of doors and windows, trying to do something different and I don't own a fisheye lens (yet). So figured I'd play around.

I'll be out tomorrow around town so will see what I can snap. Trouble is, will just be doors and windows lol

Couple more.

These were taken with the OM5.2 and 8-25 F4 Pro. Using the Computational modes (HHHR).

Taken through a window, upstairs in Starbucks - so they are images of windows and doors taken through a window (ticks my framing technique off).

So I have edited these in LR and used the remove reflections to remove the reflection and smudges on the glass.

This will be my submission for the week as I like the balance with the two individuals either side of the image.

Image 5

Taken standing up and you can see the bottom of the window frame along the bottom of the image. There weren't too many people around as the shops don't open in Touchwood until 11.

Yes, I like number 4, excellent:)

They are both great pictures, and the mono really suits them too. The blurry people add a special element too!

Both nice shots but I find the second more interesting, more of the nicely shaped windows at the top and the inverted parallax, although a bit disorientating, I quite like.

#4 for me as well, like the processing and the movement, wonder what the colour version was like.

This was the original - so you can see a fair bit went into it.

I really like the tones in that. I always find B&W hard to get right, but that looks great.

I'm no pro, I just try to ensure there is a sufficient difference between the light and dark elements of the image.

Ultimately photography and editing is all very subjective and person specific. I just get it to a place I'm happy with.

The original image, as you'll see, was wonky as hell as I was taking it sat down, with the camera by my left side in the coffee shop. Hardest part was trying to remove all the table reflections.

If you are up for a challenge, use a cpl rotating filter. should get rid of reflections but may cause other... challenges. Fairly cheap around 15 euro

I have a few sets of filters. I just never use them lol

My friend a great landscape tog recommended these set to me. Come with UV, CPL and some ND filters.

I have a set of these for every filter size lens I have from I think 62 - 77 being the largest.

I've used them a few times but can achieve my desired look most of the time in post and with the OM computational functions you can do ND (to an extent) in camera.

I do leave UV filters on to protect my lenses...which has come in handy once when I hit my 90 mm macro off the floor getting images of ants lol. Just damaged the UV filter.

They were a lot cheaper when I got them

Image 4 is a great capture - well done!

Well week 4 and broken.

I typically only have a weekend to play photography and it has been belting it down here over the last few days,

Anyway, one to get us started

Image 1

John Lewis Solihull escalators are broken (had to use my phone as they don't like cameras being used - I know go figure).

Well not only has been been raining constantly here we have all come down with cold / flu type symptoms, so photography has taken a little bit of a back seat.

I did stroll around the town centre the other day but really wasn't feeling great.

Image 2

Some derelict buildings at the back of Touchwood shopping centre with broken fences, windows and pretty much everything else. These are all fenced off so I had to hold the camera over the metal fences to get a peak in.

Image 3

Same image but edited a little differently with some grain added to try and give it a dirty / gritty vibe.

But for now I am off to bed

Still struggling with what I now assume is flu

Little macro for this one. Same image (think I prefer the colour one). 15 image, handheld stack at 2 x magnification on the OM1 with the 90 mm Macro (I believe that is 4 x macro equiv on full frame).

Boy the image quality suffers when they are uploaded to flickr and then here. Doesn't help that I download them as small jpeg files at 50% either lol

Excellent, I prefer the colour image ;)

Really very good! Colour one for me.

Apologies if it is work in progress, but the image doesn't seem to be on the main page yet.

No problem, you beat me to it as I was grabbing a coffee :)

Nicely set up shot - straight to the point :naughty:

Colour for me :)

I just ventured into the office feeling crummy, sharpened a pencil, broke it on some plain paper and then used my phone's torch to try and even out the lighting in the office.

Turned out ok I think

A nicely done pointless image.

Colour one for me.

Nice focus stack - definitely the colour one for me - a great capture!
