weekly Adamcski 52 for 2022 Week 52 (new to photography) 2022 52 complete

Nice colourful painting Adam and I like the way the frame matches the wall.

Maybe your software has a keystoning option to straighten the picture, unless the angle was deliberate.

I can alter the perspective using the two systems I have but never gave it thought to be honest. Something to remember

Snappers choice this week is the little one doing a bit of modelling for me. We are just learning about FLASH in class, so been trying to have a go at flash photography (learning about flash exposure, bouncing off walls and surfaces). It's not perfect, but I did try and have a little play with Affinity also.

An excellent choice Adam! :D You can't go wrong with a dog picture :D

Love it. A good dog portrait always makes my day, and this is a very good one.

Thanks folks, I've been struggling with lots of work recently and my photography has taken quite a hit. I look at some of the pictures you folks take and get a bit deflated at times as the standard is so high. So I'm glad you like this one :-)

Nicely captured and the colour-way is very 'calming'

Lovely painting.. your wife is very lucky!
Great pooch shot.. definitely and "ahh" :)

Good take on half :)

I prefer your chosen shot, but not the plastic glasses, but needs must I suppose.

Would be nice to see the mote of the headless person.

Pete

Thinking along the lines of a post of some form in / around some trees for this week. Some initial snaps.

Not sure these for the bill or technique as I had to look it up lol.

I like the first shot with the rails filling the frame.

BTW, if you select full image when attaching files, people don't need to click on the thumbnail to see it larger.DSCF6160.JPG

Cheers @Nod that's my favourite image also, I was just trying to improve the other one a little.

I haven't had chance to finalise my week yet, but will get it done tomorrow as I'm still working. Luckily I have a bit of spare time tomorrow (was supposed to be today) so I can probably do this week's one (water) also.

Finally managed to get two hours to myself this morning and went for a walk down the canal (only bit of water local really) and more importantly for me, got my actual camera out, rather than my phone (which seems to be the one I have been posting pictures from).

Some of my favourites from the walk (straight out of camera) but all have WATER in them, so I shouldn't be chasing my tail this week (at last).

Posts - lots of posts there. Horizontal, vertical and everything in-between. Good one Adam.

Posts... fits the bill nicely.
Water... I rather like #2 - the leading line and pop of colour on the bridge reflected in the water works for me.

Sorry folks, I am away on holiday in the middle of nowhere (need landscapes as a theme here).

The little cottage I am staying in has these which I thought would look funky in a monochrome picture. Can't do much about the light I am afraid as I have no external light sources with me and its grey / overcast and raining here.

Dusty drain covers fit the theme.
I think a close up may also have worked but your image puts them in context.
