ACR in CS3.

I have noticed that in ACR it automatically sharpens images to 25, & also "noise reduction" colour to 25 as well.

Is this standard, or is it better to turn it off & sharpen manually?

I have CS4 and my ACR only showing as sharping in Preview not sure about yours look in your settings

In your preferences set the sharpening to Preview only

It was set to actually sharpen the image.
