Acquired some old photography items

HI all,

Registered on this forum after a google search.

I recently received some old photography memorabilia from a relative who ran a photo shop about 40-50 years ago.

This includes:

  • Hundreds, if not thousands of slides - in various different mounts, some look older and do not have mounts.
  • Someunused Photo Paper in original packaging
  • Old Slide Holders
  • Some retro "adult" photos


I just wondered if there was much of a market for these things?
Ive had a look on ebay but it didnt help much, so thought id post here and maybe someone could help me out.

The items do not have family relevance, theyre from his customers, and as Im moving house havent got the space to keep these.

There are many items ive got too which I didnt list above - if photos would help in deciphering what things are, then I can put some here.

Depending on the quality and subject I am sure the retro "adult" photos have some market value for erotica collectors. I's a specialist market but with some research you could identify a dealer or two.

I would guess the photopaper is completely useless now as it is probably very old but you could try ebay.

As for the slides and slide holders I wouldn't have a clue may be worht if you have time trying to identify what the images are of. If nothing else a local history society may be interested in them depending on the age.

Some are adult (ive seen these go on ebay) and some are explicit (which i dont think you can sell on ebay)

The slides are mainly of flowers and views - as i said there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of them
 
they are a mixture of professional and snaps.
Some of the pro ones come with the original box too....

Any ideas on how to find a specialist dealer?
