Acer Crystal Brite LCD screens query

I've just ordered an Acer laptop which comes with the Crystal Brite LCD screen. I was just wondering if anyone else has one and what they think of it with respect to the viewing and editing of your photographs.

I know that I'm kinda closing the gate after the horse has bolted seeing as I've already ordered it but thought I would ask the question.

i like it as a screen but as its my first laptop i dont know any better, i think mine would need calibrating slightly though as it appears too bright so all my images are a tad dark aparently.

id have strongly advised not buying an acer though, im on the whole disapointed with mine, feels cheap and the button layout for things like wifi, bluetooth and the I/O audio ports is rediculous. ive also had some issues with poor bundled software for the computers functions, i ended up reformating mine completely after the freshinstall kept playing up. its nbeen solid ever since

I wouldn't use mine for photo stuff , it's very reflective and viewing angle dependant.

Ps. If you can't get MSN to work on it you'll find the Acer patch on their website

Thanks for the feedback guys, had wondered about the screen and did wonder if it would cause problems with reflections, but read a review from someone who said it was better than their sony vaio :shrug:

They can be reflective but the ones i have seen are very good quality and give a good picture once setup right as with any screen
